Vacancy – HLTA Part – time   

We are looking for an experienced, qualified HLTA to join our team.

This role is part-time and permanent and based in KS2.  The hours are 2 afternoons per week likely rising to 3 afternoons in September.

The role is to provide PPA cover for our KS2 classes. There is flexibility regarding subjects taught depending on the strengths of individual candidates.

The successful candidate will have attainment of 4 GCSE’s or equivalent qualifications, to include Maths and English, and attainment of HLTA status or working towards this.

They should have at least 3 years recent experience of working as a teaching assistant and at least 2 years recent experience of working in a KS2 classroom.

It is desirable for the candidate to have had experience of delivering lessons to a KS2 class.

We are committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and will be assessed against the Childcare Disqualification Regulations. References will be obtained prior to interview, if selected.
